These are gonna be a set of running boards that will go great with your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. One thing you may notice is they don't have a crazy drop in them, but if you're often off-roading like the owners of our Jeep do a lot, it'll keep 'em up and out of the way so you don't have to worry about 'em getting snagged on anything. And that's kind of where the name comes from is the Rocker Steps, is that it's gonna be about even with your rocker panels. more

Adding a set of running boards to your ProMaster van is gonna give you a much easier step up and inside of your van. From the factory, these vans sit pretty high off the ground to where it's not very comfortable, even as tall as I am. That is a very, very high step. So adding these, it's gonna get one more step, a little bit closer to the ground, helping you get in and out of the van. more

Carr Hoop II Side Steps Installation - 2020 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Carr Hoop II side steps on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. Here we have them in the matte black powder coat finish, but they're also gonna be available in polished aluminum. So really if you want to custom cater the look to your Jeep, you do have those two options. Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Ford F-150- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Westin Pro Traxx on our 2023 Ford F-150 SuperCrew. The person that will want to add nerf boards or running boards to their vehicle is someone that wants a little bit more ease for access in and out of the vehicle, as well as giving you additional space for traction in ice and mud, and a place to scrape off your boots if you happen to be in a muddy area. One of the other benefits of it is the fact that it enhances the appearance of the vehicle. Westin Sure-Grip Running Boards Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're gonna take a closer look at our Sure-Grip Running Boards on the Toyota Tacoma. Westin is a really solid quality brand across the board as far as the Sure-Step. These guys are gonna give you more of a OEM look as far as how close it mounts to the body of the vehicle. It's a cradle mount style, meaning that the brackets hold the step from underneath and it's bolted directly to the frame, so it gives you ultimate, you know, stability for it. The material is a lightweight extruded aluminum that is powder coated to protect against corrosion. Aluminum in general is naturally corrosion resistant. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Aries nerf bar on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Nice and solid as far as the stability. You can see that they're rocking the entire truck. You have a nice large step area, comes up to about 20 inches as far as usable step space, nice and rugged. And it's actually a polypropylene material that they use, so that's gonna be really good to hold up against the elements as well as UV light. It is a steel tube. more

Westin Grate Step Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Toyota Tacoma- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Westin Grate Step Running Boards on our 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Overall, it feels really good. Out of all the running boards that I've looked at today, I would say that this has the best powder coat and the most aggressive design. The teeth on each one of the treads, they're actually cut in pretty deeply to get a nice bite on ice, snow, mud, whatever you may need, or even in wet, slippery, slick conditions, it can really bite onto the bottom of your shoe. The material is steel, so it's gonna be really strong. I really wouldn't be overly concerned with corrosion just based on the thickness of this powder coat. more

So if you're looking for a good way to help step up into your Tacoma and make it a little easier, this could be the option for you. It's gonna give you a 5-inch drop, which on our stocked Tacoma today is cutting that distance that I have to move my leg up I'd say by almost half. So, if I need a little bit of help getting in and out of the truck, it's going to be really helpful and make it so I don't have to stretch near as far to get out. more

Westin PRO TRAXX Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2024 GMC Sierra 2500- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 Standard Cab and we're gonna be taking a look at, I'm gonna show you how to install the Westin PRO TRAXX Running Boards. This is gonna be an oval style running board with a large foot plate here on the top. The foot plate and the tube itself will be about 4 inches wide. Now I've got a size 13 boot and you can see here it is more than enough space to be able to fit my foot on there. The only thing that concerns me about this particular set is that they do sit quite a bit underneath the truck itself. more

Westin Platinum Series Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500- Video
Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install, the Westin Platinum Oval Running Boards. This is what our running boards are gonna look like when they're installed. You can see we have a nice large plate here. The distance between the top of our running board in the bottom of our kick panel here is gonna be a little bit different. Typically, these are pretty close, but our vehicle has a four inch body lift because it is equipped with the handicapped wing on the other side, where both passenger doors open at the same time in order for a wheelchair to get in. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with Etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Aries Ridge Step Running Boards on our 2023 Ram ProMaster 2500. Now on either side of the vehicle it's gonna look a little bit different. On the passenger side here the step is gonna span 96 inches in length, and on the driver's side it's only 36 inches because on the passenger side here we've got our large sliding door and this step is going to cover that whole section here to get up into your van or out of it. When we take a look at a set of running boards, what we'd like to do is, we'll look at what it's like to live with it. So right off the bat, you go to get in your truck, it's gonna be a nice, large space to put your foot. I have a size 13 boot, which a boot is typically a little bit larger in size than a typical tennis shoe or a sandal. So you can see there is more than enough space, about six inches extra past my boot, to be able to put your foot on that, get up in your truck nice and safely. more

So, these are gonna give you a nice, wide step, five inches wide to be exact, to help get up into your truck. So, if you're looking for something that's gonna give you a good footprint, easy to step onto even with some larger boots or shoes, this is gonna be a great way to do it. Aries Oval Nerf Bars Installation - 2012 GMC Sierra- Video
Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2012 GMC Sierra 1500, we're gonna be showing you how to install the Aries Oval tube steps. These ones are polished stainless steel but they're also available in a black powder code, if you find you like that style a little bit better. But before we jump in and install, let's take a minute, check these out and make sure they're gonna work for you. This set is going to kind of remind me of just your classic tube steps, you know, at least that's what I think of when I hear that word. They look decent and probably the first thing that I noticed is they're definitely gonna be functional, all right So they come out quite a ways, you know, they're not sticking way out to where they look funny or anything, but they're definitely gonna give you a good footing when you go to get in and outta the truck, which, with something like this, it's probably most important, right So you open up that door you got quite a bit of space there, you know, to get your foot on and get yourself a good grip while you're getting in and out of your truck. more

Hello neighbors. It's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Aries RidgeStep Running Boards on a 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 limited. This is what the running boards are gonna look like when installed on our truck, and you can see right away, they have a nice clean design. They're not overly large yet. There's still a nice spot for your feet to rest on here when you step up into the truck, it's also covered with a nice wrinkle black powder coat finish which not only looks really nice, but it's also gonna hold up to scratches a little bit better than your typical gloss. You'll see that it has raised steel treads and that's gonna be great for when it's wet out or even if you have muddy feet, you're still gonna be able to get that traction. more

Hi, there's Chevy owners. Today in your 2022 Chevrolet Colorado we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Westin's full length Running Boards. And you can see that it is a full length board that goes all the way from the front of the door there all the way here to the back even sticking off far enough that if you need to you could use the rear here as a step up to get into the back of the truck bed. And in addition to being extra long this is also an extra wide step. A lot of your Nerf bars and stuff they're only like four inch round. Today on our 2021 Ford Bronco we have in the shop, we're getting an upgrade and the upgrade is the Aries motorized ActionTrac running boards. So you're looking at motorized running boards. Well, you're definitely looking at the top tier when it comes to putting running boards on your vehicle, but what sets these apart There's only a couple on our website, but this one you're going to have two different options. So whenever I'm just sitting here hanging around, talking to my friends, we can use the top step. It is low bearing, so we can do this. This is going to be great for putting stuff up on top of your roof, but then we have the other step, which is extremely low, which is great if you kind of struggle to get in your vehicle or you just jack up your whole entire Bronco or whatever vehicle that you have on there, and this is going to help you get in, but also load some of that cargo up just to enable your vehicle to do more. more

Rampage Round Nerf Bars Installation - 2006 Jeep TJ- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Rampage Round Nerf Bars on a 2006 Wrangler. Now these are gonna be available in three different colors, we have the textured black which is a nice wrinkle black finish. We also have glossy black as well as a polished stainless version. Jeeps are fantastic for outdoor excursions, offroading and part of that really comes down to the ground clearance that they have as well as the approach angles. So with that comes a high ground clearance but also a high step into the vehicle. So for me, it's not too big of a problem to hop in without having to step up, but it is kind of awkward. more

One thing that the Grate Steps really shine is the traction that you're gonna get. As you can see, it's not just a little plastic pad or anything, it's literally steel punched through, so this is gonna be great for kinda brushing your shoes on here before you get inside to get all the mud off, the snow. Today on our 2021 Chevrolet Colorado, we're going to be taking a look at the Westin Protraxx Nerf bars. One thing I like about these is the oval shape. Some of the round Nerf bars I just don't like the looks of them. It doesn't really fill up this whole entire area. And even with the smaller steps, meaning the four inch wide steps, it does kind of cover all this up. So it seems full. more

So when it comes to these late model trucks, honestly, I think a nerf bar like this or even a running board is an upgrade that kind of just makes sense. You know, it's really simple. Not only does it make the truck look a little bit better, at least in my opinion, but it also adds some functionality as well. You know, every year when a new truck comes out, it seems like these things are getting bigger and bigger, higher up off the ground, and that can make it a little more challenging to make it easy to get in and out of the truck. more

Westin E-Series Round Nerf Bars Installation - 2021 GMC Canyon- Video
Hi there, GMC owners. Today in your 2021 GMC Canyon, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Westin's Nerf Bars. It's a three-inch, round tube step from Westin that has a plastic pad on top that gives you a good surface to step on. It's nice and flat on top with some raised surfaces to keep mud, debris, and snow and other things like that from preventing you from getting good traction. That dirt can go down inside the grooves and your foot can rest on top to get good traction in any inclement weather. Tube steps are great for a lot of different reasons. more
